A Note from the School Counselor Ashley Eveleth
This May, our guidance topic will be Personal Safety. Our goal is to partner with you to help your children learn how to protect themselves from accidents, harmful substances, abusive persons, and to be able to identify and avoid potential problem situations. We will emphasize assertiveness skills in the form of No-Go-Tell (how to say “NO,” where to go, and who to ask for help if a problem does arise). If you would like to review the materials that will be presented, or if you have concerns about your child’s participation in this lesson, please feel free to contact me.
